Attendance
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you to optimize your care. I look forward to working with you and want you to succeed, so please let me know of any obstacles we can overcome.
Rescheduling/Late Cancellations/No-Show

If you are unable to make it to your appointment and need to reschedule, please notify Mindful Therapy Group at least 48 business hours/2 business days in advance to avoid fees. Call (425)640-7009 or text (425)-321-3920

If you NO-SHOW or LATE CANCEL your appointment (less than 48 hours business/2 business days' notice), you will incur a MISSED APPOINTMENT/LATE CANCELLATION FEE in honor of our commitment and to ensure mutual respect with other patients who need help too. INSURANCES DO NOT COVER THIS FEE. It will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.

$150 for a 30-minute appointment

You are considered a "no-show" if you do not arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled appointment.

If you are scheduled for an in-person appointment but unable to make it to the office and can attend virtually, please contact Mindful Therapy Group asap to get your appointment switched to telehealth.

New patients with a scheduled first time appointment who late-cancel or no-show twice will NOT be able to reschedule a third time.

Established patients who late-cancel or no show three times will not be able to reschedule and will be referred to another provider, in order to make room for clients committed to the therapeutic process.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, seek urgent care asap and contact Mindful Therapy Group to reschedule your appointment.
Medications

Medication concerns will be discussed during our appointment.

If you require medication assistance before our next appointment such as for worsening symptoms or intolerable medication side effects, please message me on the Patient Portal and call Mindful Therapy Group to schedule a sooner appointment.

If you experience a severe medication reaction (e.g., serotonin syndrome, intense suicidal thoughts), seek emergency help asap. Do not wait until our next appointment.
Medication Refills

Should be requested during our appointment.

If you need a refill between our appointments, please message me on the Patient Portal 5-7 days before you run out and tell me the number of pills left.
EMERGENCIES/MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS

I am not available on an emergency basis, nor after business hours.

If you are experiencing an emergency or are concerned you may be a threat to yourself or others, please call 911, 988 (an emergency line specific to suicide and mental health crises), or go to Unity Center for Behavioral Health or the nearest hospital emergency room.
Case Management

Clinical issues should be shared in our appointment.

If calls and case management become excessive, I may need to charge $250/hour for the extra time. I will always inform you prior to providing this service and billing for it.

If your needs exceed my resources as a private practitioner, we will discuss referring you to a more appropriate setting.
Contact

My office hours are generally Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12pm to 6pm. I may not be able to respond to requests outside these hours. For routine questions or non-urgent matters, you may message me on the Patient Portal. Please allow a response within 72 business hours. Please note, messaging is not a replacement for care and you may be advised to schedule an appointment.
